2018 ARMS Conference, Hobart - be part of it!

Expressions of interest are currently being sought from ARMS members across Australia, NZ/Pacific/PNG and Singapore to assist in organising, preparation and delivery of the 2018 ARMS Annual conference in Hobart, Australia in September 2018. Expressions of interesting are being sought for:
- A Conference Co-Convenor to assist in leading and facilitating the organisation of the conference;
- Membership of the Organising Committee and Program Organising Committee

Our location also enables privileged research partnerships, providing a rich intellectual environment and access to specialist facilities. Tasmania is a microcosm of culture and activity, boasting some of the world’s best food and produce, outstanding natural beauty, world-class art and culture, and a rich history.

The Conference Co-Convenor will work with the Convenor, the ARMS Executive Office, Organising Committee, Professional Conference Organiser and the Tasmanian Chapter to assist with and provide leadership in all activities associated with organising, preparing and delivering. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a significant contribution to this important event.
The Organising Committee will work with the Convenors and will be responsible for the overall delivery of all aspect of the conference including planning, logistics, liaison, sponsorship etc.
The Program Organising Committee is a sub-committee of the organising Committee and will be responsible for ensuring a unique, inspiring and diverse range of local and international speakers with new and insightful topics that tie in with the overall conference theme.
If you have the commitment and drive to make an important contribution to ARMS and are able to participate in regular meetings and related activities, this is for you! All meetings will be in person or via skype/teleconference.
Membership to each committee will be capped and expressions of interest for the Co-Convenor will be assessed on merit. Applications for Co-Convenor and either/both Committee are welcomed.
