Huang1.jpegDr Huang is the Assistant Dean/ Research Strategy at the Office of Education Research, National Institute of Education (NIE) of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head of Education Research Administration and Communication at NIE.

He is the recipient of the ARMS-NCURA Global Fellowship hosted by the Harvard University in 2016, the Australian Government’s Endeavour Fellowship hosted by the University of Melbourne in 2017, and the JIAS Fellowship hosted by the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Study in 2018.

He conducts research on transfer of learning as well as higher education research management. Besides publishing in education research journals, he also publishes in the Journal of Research Administration (JRA) and NCURA magazine. He serves as the convenor of ARMS’ Conference and Major Event Committee (CMEC, since Jan 2017) and a member of the ARMS’ Professional Development and Accreditation (PDA) Committee (Jan 2015 - Dec 2016).
