2019 Winter School Elective

9 AM - 5 PM, Thursday 20 June
This elective, presented by Dr Mark Hochman, will equip participants with an understanding of why it is important to understand the societal benefit of research, the ways in which research impact may be assessed and demonstrated and the associated pitfalls to be considered. It will provide an overview of past and current international practice in demonstration of research impact and address the emerging Australian Engagement and Impact framework. The focus will be on providing practical solutions to research managers, enabling them to understand pathways to impact and establish institutional frameworks and tools for the ongoing collection and presentation of research impact information.
