TIME: 12.30 PM - 1.30 PM AEDT
Join the Research Development SIG on Thursday, the 1st December 2022 at 12.30 PM - 1.30 PM AEDT for this years SIG FEST!
SESSION BLURB:
The Research Development SIG was re-launched early 2022 following a member survey. The SIG now has three streams: Research strategy, planning and implementation, Researcher development, and Grant development. These are detailed further at https://www.researchmanagement.org.au/interest-group/research-development-sig
The SIG hosted a grant development masterclass in August 2022 via an ARMS PD@Zoom session.
This SIG-fest session will provide details of three panel sessions in the pipeline for 2023. These sessions will reflect on how the Covid-19 pandemic has shaped the delivery of researcher development programs, university-industry collaboration, and the work culture and environment of research administrators. To inform further planning, the session will also facilitate feedback and insights from SIG members as to what other topics they would like to engage with in the new year.
ABOUT THE SIG:
Feedback from the March 2021 survey crystallised into three key streams of activities. These streams will enable us to focus in depth on key aspects within the broad umbrella that is “research development”. The streams are:
- Research strategy, planning and implementation
- Researcher development
- Grant development
