SIG Event - online

The ARMS Research Impact Special Interest Group (RI-SIG) hosts monthly networking sessions on the last Thursday of each month from 1–2 PM AEDT/AEST.

These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss current research impact challenges and opportunities. We offer a mix of guest speaker presentations and open, informal discussions on various topics, fostering connections and idea-sharing within our community.

In this session we are delighted to welcome special guest speaker Dr Anne-Maree Dowd, Executive Manager Performance and Evaluation at CSIRO. Anne-Maree is co-author of Cornerstones of Impact Management: how to plan, implement, assess and understand factors for success (forthcoming 2025).

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey, this book is the definitive resource for understanding and optimising impact for your organisation. Join us for some top tips and inside insights and the opportunity for a Q&A with one of the leaders in the field.
