SESSION BLURB:
Research management is increasingly reliant on best practice information management to inform all aspects, from efficient operations to innovative and responsive strategy, to external compliance and performance. The Research Information and Reporting (RIR) SIG aims to facilitate member collaboration in common areas of interest, including research information management, research performance indicators and reporting, and the systems that underpin these processes. The RIR SIG is a community of people interested in sharing best practice, discussing the changing landscape of research evaluation, and building relationships across institutions.

The SIG Fest session will provide an overview of the history of the RIR SIG, how it is currently operating, past events held and other initiatives undertaken. We welcome input on possible future activities and discussion on how you can get involved to ensure that this community of practice is active, relevant and meeting the needs of members.
ABOUT THE SIG:
The Research Information and Reporting SIG was formed to promote the dissemination and institutional collaboration for members working in this area and is defined by the common interest area of research information management, research performance indicators and reporting, and the systems that underpin these processes.
