Job Description
This full-time (37.5 hrs) permanent position is based at the University of Auckland’s internationally renowned Liggins Institute.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll provide dedicated clinical & non-clinical research programme assistance, including operational and financial support pre and post-award for leading researchers.
You may already have a full understanding of research management, but most importantly you’ll be confident developing funding proposals, meeting non-clinical/clinical studies’ milestones and reporting requirements, and managing budgets of varying complexity. You’ll also be comfortable dealing with stakeholders across the organisation to resolve and mitigate potential risks.
A track record in improving processes would be the icing on the cake.
Skills and Experience
You will bring the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant health area.
- Experience in clinical research project management and demonstrable understanding of ICH-GCP or similar human research subject protection training
- Experience in a complex, research-intensive organisation
- The natural ability to build strong relationships and effectively consult and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
