The Research Services Office (RSO) collaborates with University research staff to achieve excellence in research.
The RSO has two positions available to work with researchers across all disciplines and faculties, as well as external funding agencies. These roles are fast paced. Your main objective is to guide and enhance the ability of research staff to secure competitive research funding. Responsibilities include identifying and promoting funding opportunities, providing strategic advice on the development of funding proposals and effective post-award management of successful grant applications.
We are seeking self-motivated individuals, who take a proactive approach to their work, have high-level organisational skills, effective communication abilities and exceptional attention to detail. Experience in managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines, interpreting and implementing policies and guidelines, and negotiation of contracts, will ensure your successful performance in the role.
