Tasmanian Chapter of ARMS

The newly established Tasmanian Chapter is now calling for expressions of interest to join the Chapter Committee. The Chapter Committee offers a chance to engage with like-minded professionals from other parts of the research management sector, build networks and to help the Tasmanian Chapter host events which aim to build skills and engagement within the Tasmanian region.  If you would like to grow your professional networks and develop your own professional skills, please self-nominate by completing the Tasmanian Chapter Committee nomination form and forwarding it to - Adele Kay, Tasmanian Chapter Convenor- by 5pm AEST, 17 July 2015.

Legislation Providing Greater Clarity

The Australasian Research Management Society is pleased to inform its members that the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Bill 2015 has now been passed. The Bill addresses a range of concerns raised by universities and research organisations following the introduction of the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012.

ARMS has developed an Accreditation Policy and Procedures Manual. This manual has full details of all requirements to achieve accreditation and to maintain accreditation.
