Associate Director, Research Development
Tania Tambiah is the Associate Director, Research Development, for the College of Business, RMIT University. Prior to this she held positions of Team Leader at the Grants Management Office, University of New South Wales, and Research Manager at the Faculty of Business, University of Technology, Sydney. Tania’s research management, leadership and training experience spans over 20 years, and focusses on formulating and implementing strategy; designing management frameworks; creating infrastructure, systems and networks; and building professional teams.
Professionally, Tania is deeply committed to advancing and promoting research management and its specialists across the sector (nationally and internationally). She is an ARMS Board Member, the Board Liaison for the Member Services Standing Committee, and the ARMS representative on the INORMS Working Group. She is also a Member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and the Society of Research Administrators (SRA) International. She is the International Representative for the SRA International Awards Committee.
