Call for Tender for the Delivery of the ARMS Advanced Level Accreditation Program in 2020

The Advanced Level Accreditation Program or ALAP is designed for mid to senior research management professionals who wish to enhance their leadership, management and content skills to become more effective research leaders in the rapidly evolving research and innovation sector. Since its introduction in 2016, the ALAP has graduated 29 research management professionals.
During its initial formation, the ARMS Board agreed that the ALAP would run initially for a 3 year period and would then undergo a comprehensive review to ensure that the content continues to reflect current trends in the profession and that there is interest in the uptake of the program by ARMS members. The review, involved a survey and focus group discussions with ALAP alumni. Following this consultation period, a small number of program refinements were recommended and considered by the ARMS Education and Professional Development Committee and the ARMS Accreditation Council. These recommendations were endorsed by the ARMS Board and are now reflected in the revised program.
Three core areas have been revised in the review which now forms the basis for this Call for Tender for the delivery of the ALAP in 2020. These areas are described in three individual work packages as follows:
Individuals wishing to bid for one or more Work Packages are advised to review the Proposal Conditions and to complete the relevant proposal form including the provision of supporting documentation which addresses all nominated criteria.
