WHAT DOES RESEARCH MANAGEMENT LOOK LIKE IN DIFFERENT SECTORS?
Many staff working in research management and administration work in a University environment and are typically familiar with the career opportunities within the University context. However, there are many opportunities in research management outside of the University sector such as Government Departments, Industry and Not-for-Profits.
In this Tasmanian ARMS Chapter career development event, representatives working in Research Management outside of the University will share insights on what it is like to work in other sectors.
Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) –Tamara Walton – Research Operations Manager – Oceans and Atmosphere Business Unit
