The Blue Economy CRC –
Sustainable seafood and renewable energy production for a marine nation

The Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre is the largest-ever CRC awarded and combines expertise across seafood, renewable energy and engineering to transform our ‘blue economy’. Bid Director of the CRC, Associate Professor Irene Penesis from the University of Tasmania, will provide an overview of how this CRC was formed, what it will do for local, national and international blue economies, and how research managers can support these major initiatives.
