ARMS End of Year Reflections and Travel Award Winner Presentations

The Art of Being a Brilliant* Research Manager: managing your career and professional development to deliver excellence and impact.

Macquarie University warmly welcomes you to this year’s ARMS End of Year Reflections and Travel Award Winner Presentations - The Art of Being a Brilliant* Research Manager: managing your career and professional development to deliver excellence and impact.

Supporting researchers to achieve their research and career outcomes while building and maintaining the reputation of the institution is our business. How do research support professionals ensure that while helping others we also maintain our own career and professional development?

The event will involve a panel session focusing on research management careers and the emerging roles and skills needed by research administrators. The panel will draw on the expertise of the ARMS Professional Development Standing Committee, ARMS Training Fellows, and research managers. This will be followed by a brief career development exercise led by careers professional Sally Purcell (MQ HDR Professional Skills Program Manager), and will conclude with networking over food and drinks.
