Anna Maria Benc is a dedicated professional with over 15 years' experience in administration, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement across higher education, health, and research sectors. As Centre Manager at the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation at ANU, she oversees operations, finances, strategic planning, events, and industry engagement. She played a key role in implementing the ANU’s TALO Computational Biology Talent Accelerator program and supporting the successful application for a major MRFF grant to establish the National Platform for Therapeutic mRNA Development. Her work spans high profile research alliances including the Centre for Personalised Immunology, Australian Genomics Health Alliance, Canberra Clinical Genomics and eWater Co-operative Research Centre. Currently completing an MBA, Anna Maria has also undertaken extensive training in communication, project management, and financial administration. As a second-generation Croatian-Australian, she also brings a strong sense of purpose and community to her work, shaped by a commitment to inclusive leadership.
