About the ARMS Professional Development Framework (PDF)
The ARMS Professional Development Framework (PDF) aims to identify the knowledge base required to be an effective research management professional in the Australasian region, and to map ARMS’ range of programs available or needed to provide this knowledge.
The PDF identifies six core areas of knowledge and three levels for knowledge enhancement – Foundation, Management and Leadership. Progressing from one knowledge level to another would usually assume familiarity with knowledge at the previous level.
Each cell describes the broad learning outcomes relevant for that core area and knowledge level.
Existing ARMS programs which operate within these areas have been mapped out and shall be updated as new programs are delivered.
