James is the Research Coordinator at the Southern Institute of Technology, now part of Te Pūkenga — New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology. He is a researcher and creator of open educational resources around animal behaviour, conservation, and research data management. James holds a PhD in behavioural ecology from the University of Cambridge and has worked in academic and research support roles in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
