Vivienne holds postgraduate qualifications from The University of Melbourne, Northeastern University, Bloomsburg University, and Marywood. She brings over 20 years of experience in research management with a focus on research ethics, governance, and integrity. This experience includes higher education and public service roles in Australian and the United States, along with time spent on human research ethics committees with the Australian Departments of Defence and Veterans’ Affairs and the Victoria Department of Health. Vivienne joined the Victoria Chapter as a committee member in August 2022 and was appointed to the Education and Professional Development Committee of ARMS in May 2024. She also served with the AEN for the 2022 online workshops and 2023 conference.

A resident of Australia for 20 years, she remains an avid Boston Red Sox and Bruins fan and has added Geelong Cats to her sporting fandom. Vivienne was shocked to find herself in Collingwood colours managing her son’s Under 14 basketball team earlier this year and to have her daughter getting ready to graduate high school and head off to Europe!
