Dr Rahel Cramer is an internationally experienced higher education professional and accomplished early career researcher with ten years’ experience in delivering timely and effective outcomes in graduate research management, research, teaching and administrative roles in Australia, Germany and Canada.
Rahel has a PhD in linguistics from Macquarie University (2019), a Master in multilingual educational linguistics from University of Hamburg (2015), and a Bachelor in education and social sciences from Oldenburg University in Germany (2010).
Rahel joined the Macquarie University Graduate Research Academy as Global Programs Coordinator in 2021 after she held positions in graduate research scholarships, partnerships and admissions at Macquarie University since 2017. In her role, she delivers strategic initiatives and institutional legal arrangements, and supports faculty and academic staff to enhance the University's global graduate research programs.
She is a member of the professional Australian-European Joint PhD Coordinators Network (2021), as well as the research network Practices of resistance (2020) and the award-winning research
group Language on the Move (2015).
