Dr Denise Dillon is the Associate Dean Research Education at James Cook University in Singapore (JCUS) and is responsible for overseeing governance and compliance of higher degree by research for candidates from application through to completion. As Chair of the JCUS Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Denise also ensures that the committee fulfills responsibilities mandated by the NACLAR Guidelines.
Dr Dillon has a teaching and research role as Associate Professor of Psychology. She teaches Environmental Psychology and her primary research focus is biophilia (love for life and lifelike processes) pertaining to both natural and built environments. She contributes to the professional psychology community in Singapore through her role as Editor in Chief of the Singapore Psychologist Magazine and now as a member of the ARMS Singapore Chapter. Denise is an ARMS Accredited Research Manager (Foundation).
