PD Sessions @ Zoom

This presentation charts the challenges our organisation faced when moving from a paper- and email-based system to an online grants management system (OGMS). Cancer Council WA annually supports six to seven funding schemes, requiring high levels of administration; moving to the OGMS ensured the streamlining of this process. Implementing the OGMS across all schemes required 6 months of intense and focussed effort.

Within this period, we dealt with unanticipated challenges, such as system and operator errors that required finessing of the process. These challenges shaped the establishment of the system and presented opportunities to improve the program’s administration. This presentation provides a guide for all those intending to set up their own OGMS and will give you tips, techniques, and potential pitfalls to look out for so that your process is as streamlined as possible.
