VIC Chapter Event: ARMS Christmas in July Networking Event - 25 July 2024

Come celebrate Christmas in July with the ARMS Victorian Chapter! We will be hosting an informal networking dinner and drinks on Thursday, 25 July from 5.30-8pm at Captain Melville - a pub within walking distance from Melbourne Central - with a Christmas themed 2-course meal, music and decorations to get into the festive winter spirit.  

This event represents an invaluable opportunity to recognise our work highlights and achievements altogether as Research Management professionals, with the end-of-financial year milestones ticked off as a collective.  

We are holding this event in response to the 2023 feedback survey, in which many of our Chapter members requested that we host informal events to encourage us to network with our peers, and share key insights and happenings in our day-to-day work.

Time: 5:30pm – 8:00pm AEST

Agenda: 

5:30pm - 6:00pm: Guests arrive for networking drinks, consisting of mulled wine, lager and soft drinks, before finding their seats at the table area.
6:00pm - 7:30pm: A 2-course Christmas themed dinner is served.
8:00pm: Event concludes.

Location: Captain Melville - 34 Franklin Street, Melbourne CBD

Cost: This event is free for ARMS members. Please log into your member portal to receive the 100% ARMS member discount.

Spots are limited, please RSVP by Wednesday, 17 July 2024 with your diateries so that the venue can cater for you.
