They will offer unique insights into optimising research management processes and what they consider best practices in their field.

Dr Keshia Arbour - University of Melbourne

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keshia is a proposal manager in the University of Melbourne’s MRFF Initiatives team. She has worked in research support and management for over a decade at Monash, Swinburne, Deakin and University of Melbourne. Her current focus is on developing MRFF bids with multidisciplinary teams (including HASS) and working with researchers to co-design bids with lived experience and consumer engagement. She has a special interest in support neuroaffirming research, perinatal mental health research and maternal health research.

Dr Helen Slaney - La Trobe University

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Helen Slaney is La Trobe University's Research Impact Manager, located in the Research Performance team. Dr Slaney’s work has enabled excellence and innovation at La Trobe University through her creation of a project database for demonstrating research impact. The database has enabled research staff to document in a structured, centralised location the impact resulting from externally funded research.
