The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) is a voluntary society with a mission to enhance professional development and networks for its members. It comprises Chapters across Australasia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and Singapore.
Joining a Chapter Committee presents a rewarding and engaging volunteer opportunity, providing professional recognition and a chance to contribute to the research management community.
By becoming part of a Chapter Committee, you can:
- Strengthen leadership skills through sharing experiences, challenges, and successes with fellow Research Management Professionals;
- Develop networks with like-minded professionals who share your passion for the research management field;
- Collaborate with other Research Management Professionals and key stakeholders in the sector; and
- Expand your professional networks and contacts locally and globally.
The ARMS WA Chapter Committee has openings for a new Committee member.
The term of a committee member is two (2) years for no more than two (2) consecutive terms (i.e., up to four (4) years in total).
Applications from all WA ARMS members are welcome, however, to ensure a balance of views and representation on the Committee, applications are strongly encouraged from members in rural, regional or remote areas, and/or those working in industry, government, the not-for-profit sector or research institutes.
