The New Zealand/Pacific Islands (NZ/PI) Chapter is actively seeking new members to join its committee!
Currently, the Chapter Committee comprises six (6) dedicated individuals, and are eager to expand the team by welcoming an additional two (2) or three (3) members from diverse research organizations across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. This expansion aims to inject fresh perspectives and ideas into event planning and activities. With a committee size of eight (8) or nine (9) members, each committee member will have primary responsibility for organizing just one (1) event per year, on average, making it manageable even for those with busy schedules.
While self-nominations are welcome from all interested individuals, we highly value the potential contributions of committee members who are relatively new to the field of research management, possess expertise in mātauranga Māori, or have experience working with Pacific Islands organizations.
