PATHWAYS TO ACCREDITATION
The two pathways outlined below are designed to offer both self-paced and peer-to-peer learning experiences, allowing flexibility based on your learning style and preferences.
Pathway 1: Face-to-Face Learning with Case Study Participation
This pathway is ideal for candidates who complete at least two of the five modules in face-to-face mode (including video conferencing). Once you have successfully finished the 5th module, the ARMS Executive office will invite you to participate in a case study assessment. This pathway earns a total of 25 points: 20 points for the five modules (4 points each) and 5 points for completing the case study.
Pathway 2: Online Learning with Face-to-Face Case Study Workshop
This pathway is designed for candidates who complete one or no modules face-to-face (when at least four online modules are available). In this case, you will earn 20 points for the successful completion of the five modules but may have limited opportunities for peer-to-peer learning. To make up for this, you will earn the remaining 5 points by attending a half-day, face-to-face case study workshop.
These workshops, led by authorised ARMS Training Fellows, will include a facilitated discussion on the case study, which will be distributed ahead of time (without the final assessment questions). The workshops will be scheduled regularly, allowing you to plan for timely completion of your case study.
Following the workshop, you will still need to submit the case study assessment to earn the final 5 points. To ensure meaningful discussions, participants are expected to submit a question related to the case study before the workshop. As with previous guidelines, video conferencing or meeting platforms will be considered equivalent to in-person workshops.
